Course info
In Term 1, subjects studied include: communication, Information Technology (IT), numeracy and core care subjects such as First Aid, HIV, counselling, human development and stress management.. In Term 2, you will undertake specialist units to match your chosen path (healthcare or social care), such as social welfare issues, human physiology and chemistry. It also includes a small workplace component.As part of the programme there will be the opportunity to undertake the Care Higher (optional). This will provide added value to the NC course.Progression to HNC, Diploma or Degree programme is possible for successful candidates.
