This course includes various healthcare subjects such as health promotion, physiology for healthcare professionals and behavioural science in healthcare.On successful completion progression is possible to higher education and 3 years further study for the Diploma in Nursing or the Diploma in Health Promotion or into employment as a care assistant in the Healthcare sector.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be 17 years of age or more and hold an NC in Healthcare or equivalent. References and Disclosure Scotland check are required and practical experience in the Healthcare sector is an advantage. Day release students need to be employed in the sector for 16 hours or more per week.
