The SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a workplace-based qualification for students employed in a health or social care setting. It enables learners to utilise their current skills, knowledge and experience to gain a nationally recognised qualification and obtain registration with SSSC. The course consists of eight credits - four core credits (effective communication, health and safety, developing your practice and protection and well-being of individuals) and four optional credits.Students can progress onto the SVQ Level 4, HNC Social Care or HNC Health Care. There is potential for employment progression within the sector.
