The HNC Working with Communities is an exciting and challenging new course which enables you to gain a nationally recognised qualification. It enables you to use the theory you have learned during the course to reflect on and develop your practice in a work placement.There are 10 core credits, including Preparing to Work with Community Groups, Accountability for and Management of Resources, Learning Approaches, Social Science Approaches, Principles and Practice and others.

Entry Requirements
One or two Highers (or equivalent), including English. If you are a mature student, you may be able to join the course without these qualifications, depending on previous skills and experience. All applicants must be actively volunteering or working in the community.
