Mearns Community Library is situated beside the shopping centre called 'The Avenue' at the junction of Ayr Road and Barrhead Road in Newton Mearns, to the south of Glasgow.The Learning Centre is contained in a room within the library and is equipped with eight PCs. Learning may be tutor-led or done online or through interactive CD roms, training manuals and books with support from library staff.Use of facilities is free.Refreshments can be bought from a hot drinks machine.Opening hours:Monday 9.30am - 7.00pmTuesday 9.30am - 5.00pmWednesday 9.30am - 5.00pmThursday 9.30am - 5.00pmFriday 9.30am - 5.00pmSaturday 9.30am - 5.00pm
