Course info
The MSc Community Health programme provides a framework by which health professionals can undertake postgraduate study which is of direct relevance to the development and delivery of community health services. Recent changes in policy have impacted on the services provided in community setting. Theory and practice combine in the Community Health programme to equip health professionals to deal with these extensive challenges. The Community Health pathway provides entrants who already have a nursing community qualification (or an equivalent professional qualification) with the opportunity to undertake post-graduate study which will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the development and delivery of community health services. Students within this pathway can select modules for study from within specified options. Successful completion of eight single modules (or double module equivalents), including the Research Methods double module, is commensurate with the award of PgD Community Health.
