Course info
This programme has been designed to enable midwives to be critical thinkers and pro-active practitioners in their work with childbearing women, their babies and their families. It will also enhance their knowledge and understanding of the development and delivery of midwifery. The Community Health pathway provides entrants who already have a Community Nursing qualification (or an equivalent professional qualification) with the opportunity to undertake postgraduate study which will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the development and delivery of community health services. Students within this pathway can select modules which are offered within Glasgow Caledonian and are deemed relevant to the award. Successful completion of eight single modules (or double module equivalents), including the Research Methods double module, is commensurate with the award of PgD Community Health.
How much will it cost?
