International students who wish to study at a British or Australian university usually need a suitable IELTS exam result. Some professional employers in the UK also require foreign practitioners whose first language is not English to achieve an IELTS score. To join the IELTS course, you need an Upper-Intermediate level of English. You can usually start any Monday but you must check with us first that a suitable class will be available. Some students only need a short course, while others need more time to achieve their required test score.We will familiarise you with the test, and will help you learn the exam techniques you need. We will improve your confidence and test skills through preparation for the exam: essay writing, fluent and accurate speaking, interpreting graphs and charts, and reading and listening practice. This programme includes sample exam questions. We will also work on your general English grammar and vocabulary.
